ROCKS Scholarships

The ROCKS scholarships provide financial support to deserving cadets. It is a meaningful investment in the cadet’s academic and personal development.  These scholarship programs are distinguished by their commitment not only to academic achievement, but also leadership, character, and dedication to community service.  The ROCKS, Inc. award scholarships to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Annual monetary scholarships are provided in recognition of the late Lieutenant General (Ret.) Edward Honor and the late Brigadier General (Ret.) Roscoe C. Cartwright, awarded to ROTC Cadets throughout the United States.


Eligibility

The purpose of these scholarships is to provide recognition and inspiration to deserving ROTC Cadet leaders who demonstrate strong character, led by example, and inspire others to pursue military service as commissioned officers. Awards are given to exceptional ROTC Cadets from the Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy who are enrolled in the Reserve Officer Training Corps at colleges, universities, or senior and junior military schools.

 

By supporting students who demonstrate both merit and perseverance, ROCKS helps reduce financial barriers and expand access to educational opportunities. And reflects The ROCKS’ strong dedication to empowering individuals to reach their full potential and contribute positively to their communities.
